Dangerous earthquake swarm is hitting the California


LOS ANGELES - An earthquake of 5.1 struck the Los Angeles area . The epicenter was located 32 kilometers south of the metropolis. The quake occurred at 9.11 in the evening ( 5.11 in Italy ) . Firefighters , police and city officials are looking into whether there have been any damage to people or things. The Seismological Institute reported that the U.S. has struck near Brea, in the county of Oranga .

A bright fireball explodes over Canada's sky

A bright light that looked like a fireball lit up the whole northern sky over Canada's Maritime provinces early this morning, callers to CBC morning shows reported.

Nova Scotia callers reported the bright light over Halifax, Dartmouth, Chester, Mount Uniacke, Truro, and Wentworth at about 5 a.m. AT.

Rick Parker, who lives on Mattatall Lake near Wentworth, N.S., said the light was so bright it got him out of bed.
